Khataron Ke Khildiyan….

August 7th, 2008

The X-Generation grlzz of india are reaching a new level … Indian women have hit a new all time high forcing entry into almost every thing. Now its not the time where grlz are restricted to steno , assistants etc. They have raised to a higher level. one more proof watch khatron ke khiladi …

I was really amazed at the kind of stunts these girls were able to do . Every one were raring to go and hit the dangers without fear.and the best part was that they were not trained but people like us who were from fashion and film industry . I think the channel took a great intiative by providing them with some good stunts rather than the lemon and spoon type of games. The stunts had almost everything heights, water, fire etc. .. There eagerness  and fire to do these stunts was simply great. Given a chance many would like to try out.But one thing that even this game show couldnt change was the fear of cockroaches. I really wonder why the same grlzzz who do scary stuff like waxing , threading and ofcourse pregnancy get scared of 2 inch insect.

Anyways good to see the grlz rule in this male dominant society . Soon hope to see our grlzz hitting off at almost every sectors without any fear … In my view its the armed forces, hardware  industries and the technical stuff’s that they are behind .. Lets hope they enter these areas in large numbers.

The Racial Slur in India

August 6th, 2008

As i was travelling in the locals of mumbai train today i saw a boy aged 14 or 15 , he was in one corner of the train , suddenly a huge person came in and was standing on this guy’s foot . This boy asked this person in a very humble manner to please take his feet and there this man started insulting him left and right.and with in minutes i could see a group of people against this small kid. They all banged  this kid very badly. I admit that i couldnt do anything and i prayed to god…"why dint you give me a Good physicque , i would have thrashed them All".The boy was crying and he got off in the next station . I was sad actually very sad and angry at these few educated fools.Thats why may be i am hitting it off here

India has raised to a new low. The racial slur hitting india so bad and almost in every state. There is no state left. Earlier it used to be that when indians used to travel abroad they used to feel this inferiority. They would be insulted, laughed upon , made fun of , beaten up and what not.Now the world has changed they are showing some respect to indians , but the bug has now caught up with the indians.

It is now tough for the indians to live in india. The states decide who should live where and what all migrants should do or not if they are making a living out of these state. Fresh examples being maharashtra. The bloody violence that hit the roads. I was feeling sad over the state of india and the stupid diplomats and polticians didnt even take a stand fearing their loss in vote banks. They allowed the goons to hit all time low.Even when i travel in the trains these i can see the people from bihar and U.P terrified , they dont take a chance to open their mouths against localites because they know they will be thrashed the moment they do.I really wonder how worse the situations are for people from these states.People in mumbai feel that these are athe people responsible for the thefts, crimes and unemployment.if you have to live in this world you have to compete. You are no beggar.People who work hard are rewarded.

And these things are not new i know years back there was the same feelings  against south indians. They used to refer it as Blady Madrasis. Now since south is pretty strong and well financailly equipped no one really dares to say anything. Then there was religious bias. The muslims getting the shots this time . I know many people still see them as a taboo or a terrorist. It is such a sad plight of india. India has become vulnerable.Anyone can destroy it. Its very easy.

The teach India Programme

July 17th, 2008

As i saw the Ad of "Idea Mobile" where in abhishek bachan thinks of educating the village childrens through mobile phone, I thought what a stupid ad .. then as the Ad was ending , i could see i was completely moved and touched by that Ad.It is a pleasure to see the childrens study specially the ones who cant afford it. By the grace of god we had the oppurtunity to study in good schools have great education  and then into good jobs and now we have a status in our society . Just go back to your childhood and remove the school life …and now think about your life. How horriible it would be .. Some thing like we dont know to read the bus and bill boards , we cant read the newspapers (Bollywood goossips included) , we wouldnt been able to blog etc etc etc .. the list would have been long.

As you all know the teach india programme which is the brain child of the THE TIMES group has been launched. Although there have been many in the past , but this is intresting as the timings to teach is flexible. It has centres which is close to mumbai’s main areas.

As we bang our keyboards hard .. we should spare a thought for thousands of childrens who are left behind without even a knowledge of alphabets…blogs, internet and the web world is far from sea for them . Are they not privelaged to have the same education as us, do they not have the rights to count the amount of the money they get for the hardwork they do , do they dont have the rights to have a good life style.Education is the basics , we should join our hands to take this momentum forward , a 2 hr a week could do little but it will atleast give a start to many ….So come lets bang on..

Hope so atleast some of you guys can surely think about it,….

I would like to clarify one more thing is that the only relation i have with times of india is that i read the newspaper early in the morning.

The Real Actors….?

July 15th, 2008

Yesterday night as i was watching a movie called "Mixed Doubles" on TV  i just couldnt stop appreciating ranvir shorey for his cool performance … It was so natural … so realistic… so our kind of story … Then i just started wondering how many Good realistic actors india has … How many of the current top actors in india can survive without song/dance sequence  or, slapstick comedy or the usual dishum dishum …. Imagine sharukh or salman doing a very aam aadmi stuff… and succeding … It is very difficult to.Who is to Blame about … we as audience or our own indian cinema which has given us this habit….

Although i was completely impressed by SRK in swades , he rocked in the movie… but a aam aadmi movie doesnt mean that it is a very serious art movie it is a story which is happening on our neighbourhood….

Lately there were a good set of movies that are being released … which are pretty intresting….which looks somewhere close to being realistic….Anyways the reason why i wrote this post was to think of te real actors who have the real acting genes in them whose one expression means a lot of things… whose acting makes us a sit up and think….some one like denzel washington or marlon brando …Who does india have……

Some of my favourite real Actors would include

Bolloywood- Nasserudin Shah who is cool but at the same time very intense and power packed…..  Rahul bose absolutely funny and very realistic… Ranvir shorey is also pretty good… Shabana Azmi is good but is always sad i dont like that about her…

Tamil - I will always say kamal hassan he is absolutely mindblowing..

malayalam -Mohanlal … he rocks guys very intense…. and absolutely rocking screen presence …

Thilakan -Emotes the best  i have seen till date….

Bengali— I think konkane sen is pretty goood…. She has a very good persona about her….

Any other Guys… you would like to list out…

Cops for a MakeOver

July 10th, 2008

From the time of our birth we indians are stuck to seeing only one colour ….Be it the taxi walla ,Auto drivers, Muncipality people or be it the our own cops. The dark light amalgated brown colour costumes  of our cops really makes me sick.I mean you make a auto driver tuck his shirt in he looks a police walla.. you make a police person with his shirts tucked out he looks a normal guy….

Its high time that atleast our cops are in dire need of a makeover. We need our cops to be stylish . Its ok if they dont have stylish weapons and  Cools Cars to Assist them but a change in costumes would sure be refreshing. Many of us take in part to blame our cops but very few know that many of our state polices features in the top list of Police departments all over the world. So one of the top cops in the world do need a stylish costumes to support them .if CBI guys can  look cool in their suits , then why not our ploice guys…

Atleast by the change of costumes … you can see many criminals and law breakers falling in the hand of the cops without reconginsing the new colour costumes.and you can also see our bollywood film making a new definations.

The cops can also add some cool metal look into thier attire which would make them even cooler. I think black would be cool and it will surely give them that royal look that they indeed are deserved to….

What you say Guys….

How to Prepare for a software Job as a fresher….

July 9th, 2008

I was just thinking last night of the troubles and tensions that i underwent as a fresher into getting into a job . I always felt i needed what it takes to be into the software industry be it a Btech degree , Mathematics , Logic or Technical Stuff. But i was just not getting through . I was rejected by many top and small notch companies.

I then changed my  approach  a little and there i was into a good job . I dont claim i have got a great offer or superb job but i am satisfied and i am happy .

So i just thought of listing out certain things that will help you into your hunt :

   1)  In engineering many of us dont really concentrate on programming or technical stuff’ s that seriously and later in your job , you tend to face all these concepts in one or the other way. So i would reccomend you to go for a small course which is like 15-30 days into training for java ,.net or database. Remember companies are looking for you for just the basics and not any advanced concepts.

  2) Create a CV , which is true and justifiable by all means . Make sure you are familiar with every term you include in your CV. One word you are ingnorant with ? GONE they will crucify you.Dont think adding many programming languages, scripting languages and other stuff’s will come to your rescue . The shorter the CV the shorter the interview and better are your chances. But alarm!! dont make it too short that the interviewer has nothing to ask.

 3) If your mathematics or aptitude is not so good … no worries dude … just take some old papers and start solving it .. you will surely start clearing them …

4)Always think of getting out of your city … dont be in a comfort zone that you will only work in your city … because as one year passes you are with out job and you will no more be a fresher.

 5) If you get a job in a small company please please dont reject it ,….. go for it… it will be a valuable experience and you will be 100% percent much better technically than the people in bigger companies. Pay scale initally may be less but your growth  would be great…

6) finally a attractive and intelligent  personality is awaited by the interviewer.Make sure you are confident of what you say and make sure you are true… because the person sitting opposite of you know much more than you so dont try to fool him . But for sure Take your stance .If your english is pooor dont worry dont go to improve it now , you can do it after getting into a job.

Thats it from my side…. if there are any more that could help thee freshers out … please do add  as comments

Christianity for Sale…!!!!!

July 8th, 2008

Two thousand years back …… There came a saviour who was born into the world to get over the sins had commited . He came with a smile and grace on his face.. He gave the best of teachings which can be applied to any person at any given conditions. He did the impossible .. he was the greatest healer which span across various miracles. He took the pain of the nails and thorns alike… and he gave the sacrifice of his life withstanding all the gruesome pains . His name was Jesus Christ… He gave us a hope he gave us a confidence … that he is  there for us.

As my GF says "That christianity is not a religion but a lifestyle which is very tough to live by " But that is changing and it is fast changing… .Walk in to a book store and you will find the reason. The number of books against christ is more than the number of books in favour of christ. Now we have a set of new breed writers set to change it … like  Some decoding the da vinci code.. some trying to prove that christ was married and some other trying to prove the importance of other prohpets and saints. At the end we only end up seeing one thing and that is writers have become super rich and you can surely confirm that by their lifestyles. The reason why i wrote the first paragraph was intentional .. although it was not a matter of concern here . People tend to doubt their god by reading these scraps and believe it for true. I mean how can a person who was born lets say 80 years back prove that christ was married or proving some other point. I feel christianity is on sale now with many christians are the ones who encourage these things.

The people of that age testified their thoughts and that is what we know as "THE BIBLE" and there is nothing beyond or above.

and i dont say it is only christianity … if you believe a religion by heart and faith then dont allow the stupid writers , painters and any other scrapers to disturb . Hereyou are not changing your costumes but your religion …. Beware Make your heart Strong for your faith shall not be disturbed….

Can India Witness Gay Marriages?

July 7th, 2008

Atlast we saw the cry of the sexes in india too .Quite surprising that people have started to air their views out of their bedrooms regarding their sex lives and their preferences. There were good number of them out there demonstrating.

But Are we right ?Should Indians Adopt the west and Allow the same sex marriages?  But then who will pay the dowry … and who will face the burnt  of the mother in laws…. Then you will see the father in laws emerging as the new villians … and guess who gains from  this plot ….Its our own Ekta Kapoor .She will soon have a set of new serials…. coool na…

But on a serious note….  I feel all the religions sayings (not the leaders but the books) are completely against it … When god created all of us he might not of thought in his wildest of dreams that some things of this type could also be done….I feel india hitting upon such a trend will be very bizzare and crazy . We were born into this world to follow very few rules … and we stupids even want to change that….So soon you can also see wedding invitations such as Mahesh Weds Ramesh  , Rani weds Reena Etc…..What i really wonder is the stability in these relations … Are they really stable do they really can withstand the longevity…. hope they do …

But as the people claim that they are born independent and they have their own independence to do anything….

So dont you guys get shocked if a son goes to his parent and says dad i love this monkey and  i want to marry her. I feel she is the one for me … she is so caring and loving and demands and irritates very less. Hehehe

Plan a Trip to Kerala , India

July 3rd, 2008

.Plan Many a times I have found many tourists wandering in kerala, india about which all places to visit . I would like to list out the places that are surely a worth visit in your Itenary.

Day 1: Make sure that you are starting from north /South of kerala so that you can end up at a place which is convenient for you to move forward. I am writing this keeping in mind that you start from north of kerala. Kasargod is the place from where kerala starts. It has good number of places like Bekel Fort (A must Visit),Kappil Beach and Chandragiri Fort. There are various other beach but it all depends upon the time you have in hand.

  Day 2:
Next point of Halt is a place called "Wayanad" (3 Hrs from kasargod) which is completely a tourism for wild life. If you are wild life freak then you will surely enjoy . There are some superb hill spots which you will surely enjoy (Beware of Wild Elepahants…).You can also visit some tribal groups have their food and drinks . you can also Spend your nights at Tree Houses. Vythiri is must place to visit.

  Day 3 :
The next point of halt is Cochin or Ernakulam ( 6 Hrs Drive from Wayanad) . There are many places to visit here specially the small islands . I just love this place because it is a city with everything available, scenic and it also has many good beaches. best places to visit Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), Bolghatty Palace,Chinese Fishing Nets,Santa Cruz Basilica,Cherai Beach

Day 4 - This day is upto you , if you like to have more of flora and fauna then you can hit on to a place called Idukki (where you can find the best rivers ,dams and a good wild life) or if you like to visit a more hill station type of place you can visit Munnar. Munnar is one of my personal favourite . Lots of tea estates. One of the favorites with tourists. Kuthumkal Waterfalls is a cool place. Please do visit this too….

Day 5 - The place called Allepey which has given kerala its real identity "BACKWATERS". I would be short of words to describe the beauty of backwaters. Hire a Houseboat, take a 3-4 hrs drive or even a full night will do , you will cherish it for lifetime. There is also a small town called Kuttanad(1 hr drive from allepey city) , which is one of the most scenic places. Have some great food and local drinks. You will enjoy being in this place.

Day 6:
The final Destination , Trivandrum (capital of kerala, at a 3 hrs drive from alleppey).Kovalam beach is the hottest destination here. Get yourself a spa or full body massage at a authorised ayurvedic centre here and you will feel refreshed for the next 2 weeks for sure. The best places to see are Padmanabhpuram Palace,Kovalam Beach, Shangumugham Beach, Ponmudi and palace Museum. There are many more buildings built by the british which are now government office which are worth a watch if you have time.
