We see the same world and our thoughts

November 24th, 2007 | by Nem Singh
At peace with you, it hardly seems we could differ. And yet we meet at the wrong door of the theatre, the train station at the wrong time. Words are suddenly ungainly things, stange things getting in our way. And this even for us.
We see the same world and our thoughts
go different ways We walk in different tracks,
held together by our hands and hearts.
I love you, you love me more,
yet we must hold hands to talk.
The single shiver that runs across our two skins
when we touch reminds us of our patience
(wait, let me try to say it again)
and the little we are able to turn into words
strays off, in search of a sympathetic partner.
What a world this must be !
when two so in love,
with such assiduous patience,
sitting on either side of an insurmountable barrier
low enough to kiss across,
Cannot describe one world to another,
How can it be for those at feud,
raised in dislike unable to hear
trying each to explain their story?
I love your world whatever it is,
I wish you the best of luck in it.
And I’ll continue to try to allow
A few scraps of your song to cross into mine.
Some one write this and i forward to all of u.
