Rain

Rain

Rain

Outside the rain had ceased.

Chariots of clouds are on the move

Dark light peeped through the window

Pigeons sat strangely silent

I was reading a book

I read till the light was gone

I could have easily switch on a lamp

but wanted to ride the day down into night

I heard a murmur from the dark

“Do not go gentle into the night,

Go wild

Rage, rage against the dying day light”

I had a temptation

to plunge into the wet night

The street outside was dark and moist

I put on my windsheater

ventured into the dark weary night

Cold breeze caressed my cheeks

Raindrops cleansed my face

A thunderous feeling entered my nerves

and signaled that heavy rain is on the way

I walked slowly to immerse in the rain

I like the poem. The feelings expressed. Few phrases that you’ve used are brilliant. Its been raining here too ergo reading a poem like this goes with my present mood.
I am no expert but I feel you can be a tad careful with respect to grammar.
    For eg -

Good one friend! But you have to imagine more mixed with sweet sense of rhythm together to beautify it nicely! A break in rhythm is noticed here, but writting is high class. Here imaginnetion and sweet sense of rhythm is more important than writting abili

I see an adventurous poet, out to experience the fantasies of the nature at night. Pretty yet nocturnal … was I able to make any sense?
