Choice

Choice
In the beginning
“choice” was not a hiccup
There was no competition
Now things have changed
from naked ape
to robotics, nanotechnology
and unknown to unknowns
Wherever you turn
someone is there for advice
Everyone competing everywhere
in this unforgiving world
The times are changing
Paradigms are shifting
when generations face Choice
Choice engender more choice
Like an amoeba
it starts off,
Over the time
it breaks up
into so many elements
We should view the future
through this process of synthesis
Don’t think it will calm down
It will get worse
The writing is on the wall
Always a Pandora’s box gets open
from the sublime
to bestow new paradoxes
A new discerning
and conscious generation
is compelling the environment
to redefine the choices
Every change creates ripples
If we ignore changes
we will never conquer
our choice of difference
Future wears discontinuities
and will be chaotic!
We need to build it

This is indeed a nice, (albeit despairing) perspective on Change, which has become an inevitable part of our lives. I prefer to look at it in a positive manner though. I love to compete and my own contribution matters to me more than whether I win or lose, hehe! One observation though…
Wherever you turn

First two lines here don’t seem to match with the next two in content, think about it.

Dear Chandra,
I described the current scenario by these lines to prepare a ground for my poem. Hope it fits the structure.
Thanks for your valuable comments.

following the ripple effect caused, have a feeling that future would be much more disciplined and not choatic.Mans mind is capable of conquering the choices of differences.

If we have no choice, there will be no change. If there is no change, it is monotomy. I am happy to be as i am today. If not, i will be sitting on a tree scrating. Thanks evolution, and the progress.

to be happy in todays world, the best thing is to accept the change and not resist it…esp just for the sake of opposing….nice verses..

Change is inevitable, else we stagnate. Choice is in our own hands. Accept some, ponder over some, reject some. Wonderful verses, stating the changing times.
Thanx for ur toughts. The CM is known for putting her foot in her mouth. The city is unsafe, instead of addressing the issue, the blamegame starts.
