India’s Unique Predicament

India Becomes Unwieldy Is the population growth really an Asset? With every millions being added every month, is there a corresponding increase in the Police Force, Infrastructure and other allied and related services to the national and regional resource pool. Is enough being done to curb the growing menace of sexual harassment of Women and College Girls in India. Two recent incidents draw my attention. One girl somewhere in North was burnt to death on resisting eve teasing and sexual advances. One girl burnt herself on being continuously stalked and sexually harassed. OK there are laws in place. But are they being implemented. Cosmopolitans and certain states are notorious for being unsafe for women. Should special task force be formed to curb the growing lawlessness in the country? Road rage and adam teasing are fast emerging as other scourges in the new modern Indian society. It is a matter of grave irony, that this Author ( Rajeev Kumar Vashisht ) who has been fighting for years for women rights and other issues of social concerns and impact is continuously being harassed and stalked by the police and CID Mafia who use girls occasionally to demoralize me from pursuing this cause. Bloggers have recently been killed in China and Afghanistan, is this freedom of expression being granted by the constitution. Will India one day be in control of Prostitutes and Pimps and the Flesh Mafia? Has the Blood of Indian youth with the right values become cold. Are there not enough people in the Media and other well placed activists who are not able to take any affirmative action? Will people wait and watch entropy take over India or act proactive? Time is telling a not so pleasant tale.
