A tip to get more links to your blog posts

Develop a list of blogs in your niche which you like (which you may or may not visit everyday). This list of blogs should be relevant to the subject of your blog - for example - if your blog is about fitness related issues then make a list of blogs of similar subject. Let's call this list as your favorite blogs list.

The next step would be to write a really good and helpful article post on your blog which users might find useful. Then write a note and send it to all the blog owners in your favorite blogs list. Your message could be something like this - "Hey, if you like this article, could you tell your blog readers a little about it?". They might do this or not. Either way its fine. They may also send you a message asking to mention one of their articles to your blog readers too. You may oblige or you may not. Again, either way its fine.

Using this strategy, you might be able to generate some useful incoming links and traffic to your blog post.
