Interesting things to do on internet today

Web 2.0 is the latest craze with people these days. People can do a lot on the internet with the coming up of many new services and websites.

You can express your thoughts through blogging, bookmark interesting websites and share them with others, take part in online discussion groups and forums, take part in surveys and polls and can also create your very own surveys to share with others.

Sites like digg.com etc. also provide us the opportunity to submit newstories which we find interesting, and we can also vote on stories submitted by others. All these things are making the internet a very interesting and interactive place.

I am providing below a few websites which are providing interesting services to us. These service constitute a part of web 2.0.

Please note that I am deliberately omitting some well known websites like digg, reddit, youtube etc. because in this article I want to focus on some lesser known sites and bring them to your notice.

This site allows you to have a wish list anybody can access.

similar to sites like digg and reddit wherein you can submit stories and vote on them as well.

A place where you can publish interesting business news, vote and discuse them.

A site where you can submit news, videos and podcasts in 10 different categories.

6. www.motorpulse.com
A community-driven news site for automotive news.

7. www.spymy.com
SpyMy is an aggregator of news and stories you want to read, created specially for the South East Asia region.

Submit news and vote on them. A wide range of categories are available to submit your news or stories.

9. www.strobe.org
This site says that it is an mmo based digg.com. I am not sure what is meant by mmo though. Still you may want to check it out.

This is a collection of links submitted and ranked by readers.

A news website designed to give the users the authority to deside and share information.

Content Pop is a group of communities promoting web content that is important to them. Communities are created by you, and voting is done by you.

This site is similar to squidoo. Here you can easily publish information on a topic you love to write about. Simple to use, 100% free.
