all of us normally plug two pin or three pin plugs for taking extensions,playing music systems,computers,kitchen appliances and many other uses but in a break through that sounds like some thing a special effect of a movie,scientists have discovered a way of ‘beaming power’ across room in to a light bulb,mobile phone,or a laptop computer with out wires and cables.in first successful trial a team of scientists of ‘massachusetts institute of technology’ led by dr.marin,was able to illuminate 60-watt bulb 7 feet away.
               the invention named ‘WiTricity’,can change the way we use electricty and do away with the tangle of cables,plugs and chargers that have become the integral part of modern middle class house hold.

       the principal in this invention,the scientists have known for many decades that it is possible to transfer an electric current from one coil of wires to another without them touching,a phenomenon called electro magnatic induction,is used in power transformers and electric motors around the world.scientists got break through when they realised there was another way of transferring energy through the air.rather than sending power from a transmitter to a receiver as a conventional electromagnatic wave—the same form of radiation as light,radio waves and microwave–they could use the transmitter to fill a room with non radioactive  electromagnatic field.this field works as transmitter in place of normal cables and plugs.
