April 28th, 2008You know guys, I was completely unaware as to how many people had been short listed, so when ibibo and mtv called me to a gym, I thought this was just another round, to select the finalists. I was taken to the gym and asked to exercise. I felt confused that a dance show would be judged on his exercising routine. I was apprehensive and then Sophie came… I was stunned to see her… I didn’t know she would be there… Ahmed sir is great, he did scream but that only helped me improved my performance. In fact one day prior to the show, he called my performance low. He said Askhay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are star and if they give 100% on the screen we have to give in 1000% to match up to their level. I got hurt but I took it as positive feedback. And I practiced all night and day to improve my performance. Priyanka is very good, I am nothing. She is a great dancer. There is a sequence in the song where she performs solo, I just observed her and tried to learn from her. She is a very nice person. And all through I used to call her ‘baccha’ as she is very cute and young. Off camera she is really a baccha but the minute she comes infront of a camera she is a complete professional. Then I had the most amazing experience. It was like I was living a dream. Especially meeting Ahmed sir (our choreographer) It’s a big thing to work with him. Given the ordinary circumstances, however hard I tried I would have never been able to work with him. I consider myself extremely lucky, it really a big thing for me to be able to work with him.
