The Vastavta of Sanjay Dutt Case

 36 Ratings
In: Events

Appears that Sanjay Dutt will appear in court today for sentencing and there has been a raging debate that he has been so far treated favorably by the judiciary because of his status. Elsewhere the star said that he has already been punished enough!
What do you think?
Has he received favourable treatment from the judges?
Has he been punished enough already?
If not – Should he do the time?
Should there be a public debate on this issue at all just because he is a star? We don’t even know the names of others accused of the same crime ;)

Where does the world exist?

Well, as we all have been told Space is infinite, Earth is not the center of the world, stars are countless and galaxies are huge, the cosmos simply zaps one’s mind.. blah blah blah. And, I have a question that has bugged me like forever. Where does space exist? The space within a room is bound within the four walls of the said room (Unless the room happens to be a 5 walled modern architectural wonder!), the empty space is inside my head, there is also a lot of space in my wallet, but thats another topic altogether:)

So wise bloggies, please answer my question, where does the space that contains stars, galaxies and planets exist?

Let us not get mythological and religious on this question. Don’t say “it is not for us to question God’s creation.” Fantasy-theories and scientific bullshit are welcome;)

Life in a Metro

Saw ‘Life in a Metro’ last night. Irrfan khan rocked all the way, what I don’t get it is why did they give so little screen time to him? This guy rocks and will soon take Nana patekar’s place. Konkona did well too, Kangana did her best to continue looking like a china doll and I wish her all the best!

But Why O Why would the creme-de-la-creme of Mumbai society be so desperately after one silly apartment? Can’t they afford to rent a hotel room? And Why the heck is Shila shetty going around in a city bus? AND my biggest question is why didn’t the Mumbai land-mafia gobble up Sharman Joshi’s pot of land and half-built restaurant? This guy has no money, no powerful friends, nothing to stop the musclemen from grabbing this piece of land which is apprently worth a big packet!  Realistic movies, HAHAHA!

All said and done, Great time pass!!

Dhandha hai per gandha hai….

Have you noticed that recently there are one too many e-schemes promising to pay you lots of money for doing nothing much except click, copy and paste? This includes ibibo! Is there actually a survey or a reliable report indicating how many have actually earned an amount substantial enough to justify spending half their waking hours online doing nothing except paste the same message on 831.7 different blogs?

I wonder what the average per-hour-pay on ibibo works out to be?

I say all this with authority because I am the world’s second smartest person. The smartest as we all know is my friend The Wise One ;)

What’s that smell Part III

Part 3
It didn’t take long before Mia got back to the subject at hand: her diary. Selma cringed. Reluctantly, she invited Mia to talk it out; assuring her that together they’d find the diary. As a grateful Mia grabbed her friend’s hand and squeezed, Selma realized she was either already in trouble or soon going to be in some unmentionable position. She had to find a safer place to hide the diary or she had to fess up to her friend. She figured that if Mia dropped her hippie, new age, touchy feely attitude she could be more open to the fact her best friend was the thief. And if not? Then Selma would be abnormally screwed.

Before she could come up with any plausible ideas, Selma was interrupted by six dimwitted smelly cats that Mia called ‘my babies’. Selma panicked; ‘Not again’, she thought. Feeling her chakras spinning out of balance, she carefully reached for the pack of Marlboros and lit a stick. Apparently this was an adequate deterrent–the discouraged-by-smoke critters began to scurry back toward whereever they came from, squealing with discontent. Selma exhaled with relief. That’s when she heard the explosion. Mia had let go. The room filled with the smell of last night’s pizza that Mia had consumed in copious quantity… CONTD

In the last couple of days I have blown a small fortune in registering some unique, unusual and interesting web domain names. It’s all in the hope that I will find buyers willing to pay a high price. Now I sit back and quietly panic. Oh Joy! :) No, there really is not a need to panic. Early days and all that!

Will let you know how the sales proceed:)

Do we need the game cricket?

I want to ban the game! We have wasted enough time, money and various other resources on this absolutely useless pursuit of a spherical object by eleven over-paid men in dirty shades of blue.

Racism?

Have you encountered racism in your life? I would like to reproduce my post in UAE Community Blog

“After providing muchos lip service to the cause of exposing racism in Dubai clubs and restaurants , the new tabloid Express - The Paper That Cares has gladdened me lil asian heart with their timely cartoons on Society Pages (pg31) of the issue on 29th March 2007.

The story titled Faces At The Races (The World Cup Crowd) tries to put before us the stereotypical racegoers as following.

Hooray Henry = Rich socialite with time to kill is White man
Corporate Client = A Keen deal maker and once again a successful man a.k.a A White Person.
Pony Girl = Ambitious rich offspring of white parents
Big Hat Woman = The socialite spouse of a rich financial whizkid is… White!
Ambitious Jockey = White again!
Knowledgeable Race Enthusiast = No prizes for guessing.. White again!
Startled Holidaymanker = Kinda clueless personality = Of indeterminate ethnicity.
Family Man = has to count his fils, rather shabby, certainly Asian :)
Labourer = Lives in a dorm (read bed space), is here to watch the more fortunate white folks… Asian! :)

how sensitive!!”
