Friendship 

I love talking to you,

You always seem to listen.

I try not to tell any of my concern,

But you always find out the reason.

 

I love listening to you,

You always make me realise,

That beyond all the knowledge I’ve gained,

There’s still to learn; to grow more wise.

 

I love arguing with you,

It sort of makes me strong.

When my arrogance tries to prove me right,

You’re sensibility, always explains I’m wrong.

 

I love laughing with you,

At your funny jokes and comments.

And blush when caught unaware,

Smiling at myself, thinking of them again.

 

I love being with you,

Wish you’d never have to depart.

But I know when God planned to let us meet,

He also put down the day, when we’d have to part.

 

So would you care to be my friend,

For the time that we are together?

And let me be by your side,

Till time asks us to bid goodbye forever.
