The rain, the cloud, the moon, the wind How do they matter now…? But they used to be so meaningful someday When you were around. They used to be my friends when we used to meet, They used to be so meaningful when we used to treat. Now that you are not near Life is only a burden to bear Now that you are far away It is only the memory to cheer. If we get to meet again Will life be the same game? Or the road that we have passed by… Will not come back again! The rain, the cloud, the moon and the wind Are lost from my life… Hope they will again cheer someone May be for a little while… (Pix ~ my own!)
It was an evening like any other, I could see you slipping out of my hands with every passing second. The intensity I saw in you brought tears to my eyes. Even in these final moments, there was passion, there was fire, and there was warmth. I stared at you for an endless moment, daring you to stay. I knew I had to let you go, you wouldn’t stay. I continued looking out of the window, each moment seemed like an endless memory. It was slowly getting darker around me. The growing darkness engulfed my mind and soul. The silent wind whispered, like a lover’s caress, "I will come back, sooner than you think, I promise." I continued staring into the sky, where light now seemed like a distant memory. The day had ended with a promise to return soon. The clock struck eight, and the noise brought me out of my stupor. I smiled as I looked at the grey horizon. Another day after all, was just a night away… (Pix ~ by me!)
