Important Points on how to be safe from Terror Attacks

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Terror

Some points to be noticed of how our country can be safe from terrorism

  1. This country wants young minister’s who have the knowledge to technology. With the help of messages which we receive via some incoming signals and the information received by intelligence agencies can be send to everyone via email. That is intelligence agencies can email the planning of terrorist activities and more warnings to the minister and hotel, malls and cinema.
  2. All small and big hotels, malls, cinema halls should give their email id’s to intelligent agencies and check their mail every day so must the young minister.
  3. Screen test must not be only kept at the entrance of the visitors but also at the entrance of staff members of each and every place.
  4. There must be CCTV on each and every floor, each and every kitchen, surrounding the whole area, outside the hotel also we must install CCTV.
  5. We must keep some commandos outside the main entrance, exit, and staff entrance. The commandos must be present on each and every floor.
  6. The checking of the people and staffers must be strict.
  7. We must also install CCTV on each and every station.
  8. Commandos must also be present at all the station.
  9. Each and every railway station must also create their email ids so that we can also mail them about the warning.
  10. Commandos must also be present at all the beaches. The CCTV cameras must be installed over there.
  11. All the fishermen must keep a tough check through at all times.
  12. Local people, must cooperate completely.
  13. Since I spoke about installing CCTV, there must be a separate security room to watch all the places.

Important point to be noted, the police and commandos must keep the security tight for all 365 days.

Two days ago I was in Colaba

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Terror

Two days ago I went to Colaba to collect my sister’s Certificate from UAE embessay. I was again and again looking at World Trade Centre, Mumbai which reminded of World Trade Centre attack in Newyork. I was not aware that there will be actually an attack taking place at Colaba after nearly two days. I think I have got sixth sense or what? But yes, I am sure my friends in Mumbai are safe and sound. I hope we all get together and fight the terror attack

Not only this, I had gone with my mom and my aunty for shopping to Crawford Market, Marine Lines, near Churchgate. It was 26/11/2008. Just after we leaving from Marine Lines, there was bomb blast at Metro Cinema at Marines Lines. I think God saved us again. Bombay Stock Exchange was working normally.

Sad news - My dad’s Maasa (Mother’s sister’s husband) - Maasa’s sons brother-in-law expired yesterday in Oberoi. He was also shot. He had gone there for Dinner.

Tribute to Surya Pratim

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Tribute to Surya Pratim

Well, I am sad to hear about Surya Pratim, leaving us all alone. Infact, he used to bring his feelings out in comments via short sweet poem, and was nice person.

After reading, about meetings in Kolkatta, I have found out that Surya was a gentle and friendly person, and like to go social. We will never forget him. We will miss the bengali translations of the poems. Well, at this moment, tears are flowing off my eyes. Its shocking, but painful for me to know about our friend Surya Pratim.

I am giving a tribute on of  behalf ibibo and all the bloggers on ibibo. I hope God gives strength to his family members and may God gives peace to him in Heaven.

Tribute

Surya Pratim

Kindly read the following Prayer, when you read my blog.

“Our Father

Who art in Heaven

Hallowed be Thy name

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done

On earth, as it is in Heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

Forgive us our trespasses

As we forgive those who trespass against us

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.

Amen “

Fashion - A great movie

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Fashion

Fashion was a nice movie. I liked this movie and the best thing was without any Hero in it, the movie was best. But before watching this movie, a woman has to be strong. A woman has faced lots of pain in this, and Kangana Ranaut acted really well. She was a portraying a real life model. Priyanka Chopra was ok.

I think, when a model wants to reach her success, she must take a slow path and always trust his or her life partner. I think, this will not only guide them, but keep them away, from disturbance and tensions. And I think one must not go beyond when you right up in success like relationship of Priyanka Chopra and Arbaas Khan was not nice. Priyanka should have had faith in her room mate. I think this will definitely keep a model on a safe side.

I am sorry, I have forgotten the name of the characters, but the songs also were nice. I like the song Marjawan and also the main music of Fashion was nice. Kangana Ranaut was superb. Hats off to her acting. Madhur Bhandarkar has made a history and has made a nice movie.

A smile

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Smile

A smile costs nothing, but gives much.
It enriches those who give it.
It takes but a moment.
But the memory of it sometimes last forever.
None is so rich or mighty
That he can get along without it,
And none is so poor
That he cannot be made richer by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home,
Promotes good will in business
And is the cornerstone of friendship.
It can pert up the weary,
Bring cheer to the discouraged,
Sunshine to the sad,
And is the nature’s Best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought,
Begged, borrowed or stolen,
For it something
That is of no value to anyone until it is given away.
No one needs a smile so much as he who has none to give.

Introducing Ossie - Page 9 and 10

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Ossie

Ossie jumped on his own bikes, his BMX, so small that it looked like a boy bike by comparison, and rose as fast as he could straight into his grandfather’s block.

Ossie let himself into his grandfather’s flat. For his eleventh birthday, he had been given a key ring with three keys on it – for his own front door, his grandad’s flat and his locker at school. He kept the keys on a string round his neck. If he lost them, his mother had warned, it would be a hanging offence.

“Sorry, I’m late, Grandad,” said Ossie. “It was Mum’s fault. She made me do so many jobs.”

“I’d given you up for lost,” said his granddad. He was sitting in front of the gas fire, which he kept on all the year round, watching television. It was horse racing. Granddad was watching with the sound off, as he always did. He hated all commentators and experts of any sort.

“What do you want, anyway?” he grunted. “I’ve got nothing for you, so don’t ask.”

“I’ve come to help you,” said Ossie.

“Help, it’s not help I want. A new pair of legs, that’s all I need, then I’ll be off out of this dump.”

Ossie stood waiting, looking round the room. Every Saturday morning he was late, sometimes very late, and every Saturday morning he had to put up with his grandad’s moans.

Ossie knew it was the old man’s way of paying him back late. Granddad hated unpunctuality, among many other things.

“Do you want me to go to the shops, Grandad?”

“Why?” asked Grandad, changing channels to wrestling, then back again to the horse racing.

“So you can have food. So you can eat.”

“Oh, bit late to think of that. No point in me eating. I’ll be dying soon. What’s the point of eating? Waste of good food. I hate to see good food being wasted. Would you like a bacon sandwich?”

Ossie had not been listening properly, but at the mention of a bacon sandwich he was all attention.

“Yes, please, Grandad. If you have any.”

“I did have plenty,” said his granddad, getting up from his chair and going to his little stove. “But I thought you were never coming. I ate most of it myself. Oh, you’re in luck. Enough for one sandwich only. Sauce?”

That was another thing Ossie was not allowed at home. HP sauce. In fact he was not allowed sauce of any kind.

Grandad watched with please as Ossie wolfed it all down.

“That’s the stuff. No wonder you’re a little skinny-ma-link, with all that rabbit food she gives you. Lots of eggs and bacon, that’s the stuff to put hairs on your chest.”

“I haven’t even got a chest,” said Ossie. “That’s what…”

Before he could finish his sentence, Grandad had burst into such laughter, spluttering and slapping himself, coughing and choking, that Ossie thought he was going to have a heart attack.

“Not even got…” spluttered Grandad, “a…chest…”

There were tears rolling down his cheeks. He took out his false teeth (a sight which Ossie hated) to help himself breathe, then he put them back in again.

“Right, that’s enough from you, boyo,” said Grandad, suddenly becoming serious. “Here, cop hold of this.”

From his pocket, he produced a neatly written list of shopping, a five-pound note and a plastic carrier bag.

“Now off you go. Can’t you see I’m trying to watch the racing?”

When Ossie went shopping with his mother, the big shopping which she did every two weeks, they went to Tesco and needed a whole trolley to carry all their stuff. For his grandad’s weekend shopping, all Ossie needed was a small wire basket. Even then, the food hardly covered the bottom of the basket.

The supermarket was very near, right next to the pub, and as usual there was a huge queue for the one till the end of the shop. It was all so stupid, so Ossie thought, going out shopping. When he was older and could afford a proper computer, he would do his own program and order all the shopping, just by sitting at home.

Ossie quickly picked up his grandad’s packet of streaky beacon, half a dozen eggs, half a pound of butter, half a pound of Cheddar cheese and a white loaf, thick sliced. The order was the same very week.

Happy Polluted free Deepawali

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Diwali

Happy Diwali to all of you. I am sorry for making blog so late, as my dad has still not recovered and I am busy in looking after my aunty, who has a back problem.

Well, you all must be wondering why did I write down polluted free Diwali?. There is a reason. Few weeks ago, I had read in The Times of India that the hole in the Ozone Layer was increasing day by day. Now this means that there is danger to our planet Earth.Crackers not only create Air Pollution but also Noise Pollution.

I just hope that children and elders today just stop using crackers and celebrate clean and polluted free Diwali. Lets join hands and make this world a better place to live in.

Wish you a Happy Diwali and a Prosperous New Year to all my friends in ibibo and ibibo team too.

Introducing Ossie - Page 7 and 8

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Ossie

“It’s not fair, having to put up with this old thing. If only I was older and had a proper bike, like a Suzuki. This hasn’t even got any decent accessories. I know some kids with so many extras you can hardly see their bikes at all.”

He was riding on the pavement, something he was not supposed to do. All the neighbors had complained about BMXs being ridden up and down the pavements, upsetting old people and frightening the little kids.

Ossie was riding no hands and whistling, showing off. Then he tried a few wheelies, though not very good ones.

“How can I do proper wheelies on this wreck? If I had a proper machine, I’d be the best biker in the whole world. Then they’d all see.”

He turned the corner rather too quickly and fell slap into the arms of Flossie Teacake.

She was a large girl, though she was the same age as Ossie and was in his class. He didn’t really care for her. She had moved recently from London and was always boasting about it. Ossie often walked to school with her, if by chance they met on the way, but he made sure he wasn’t seen actually going through the gates with her.

“You stupid fool,” said Ossie, picking himself off the ground. “Couldn’t you see me coming?”

“Couldn’t you look around where you’re going?” said Flossie.

“That’s the second arm I’ve broken this morning.’

“Shall I get my bike out and play?” asked Flossie.

“No,” said Ossie. “I am going to work.”

“You don’t go to work,” said Flossie. “You haven’t got a job. What a liar, Ossie Osgood.”

Ossie’s grandfather’s home was only two streets away, on the same new estate. He lived in what was called Sheltered Housing.

When Ossie had first heard about this, he thought it would be some sort of encampment, with a big open fire, horses tied up against trees, and his granddad living in his own wigwam, the biggest and best wigwam of course, with full color telly, only the best being good enough for Ossie’s grandfather.

Ossie had been somewhat disappointed to find that it was rather boring concrete block, full of old people. Ossie’s grandfather had one living room, with a bathroom and a little bedroom. But inside his tiny flat Ossie’s grandfather looked after himself, doing his own cooking and cleaning. There was a bell he could ring, if he ever wanted help, but he never did. Ossie’s grandfather was very much independent.

He had trouble walking: that was his only real problem so far as Ossie could see – something to do with arthritis in his ankles. Some days he could walk all the way to the pub and back. Sometimes he couldn’t. It wasn’t far. The pub was next door.

His memory was also not good as it used to be, though that, too, came and went. His old memory was excellent. It was his new memory which was not so good. Things which happened to him yesterday often went straight out of his mind, but things which had happened forty or fifty or even sixty years ago were absolutely clear. Ossie liked to hear these memories, especially the stories about wartime. Those were the best.

As Ossie came to the pub beside his grandad’s home, he heard someone shouting at him.

“Snoopy One Two. Are you receiving me? Snoopy One Two. Are you receiving me?”

It sounded a bit a like Snotty Bum Bum. Could someone know his old nickname? Ossie stopped and looked around. Who on earth could be calling him?

He got off his BMX and looked up and down the street. The pub was full. It was Saturday and the pub had just opened for the lunch- time trade, but there was no one around outside.

Ossie suddenly realized there was a huge motorbike parked nearby. It was a Suzuki GS 1000. Ossie had a photograph of it at home above his bed, torn out of a comic, so he knew it well. It was red, white and blue, the colors he planned to have if he ever got a bike, if he ever lived to be eighteen.

“Snoopy One Two. Are you receiving me?”

Ossie realized the words were coming from the motorbike. He knew that the Japanese made amazing motorbikes, but he didn’t know that these they could make them talk. “Brilliant, these Japanese.”

Ossie went near, felt the throttle, admitted the wheels, moved his hand down the body. He almost jumped in the air when the voice spoke again.

“Look, stop messing around, Snoopy One Two. What the hell are you playing at? Roger and out.”

Ossie now saw that it was the motorbike’s radio which was blaring away. Ossie looked around, but could see no signs of a rider, or of anyone else. Very slowly, he picked up the mouthpiece from its little cradle on the front of the bike.

As he did so, a very large and spotty youth dressed all in leather, wearing enormous heavy boots, stuck his head out of the pub door.

“You touch that bike, you little swine,” he shouted, “and I’ll have you.”

Introducing Ossie - Page 6

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Ossie

“Mum, did you hear that?” shouted Ossie. “Did you hear what Lucy said? Oh yes, you tell me off, but you never tell her off.”

“Two minutes, Oswald,” shouted his mother from the living room.

There was then silence. Lucy had returned to her drawing and Ossie, having polished off his mearge breakfast in two seconds, had pulled up his jumper to reveal two old Beanos. He had shoved them there, emergency supplies, for when he might need them. He spread both of them out on the white plastic surface of the bar, pushing the dirty bowl and plate aside, and started to read.

He didn’t hear his mother come back into the kitchen, but suddenly he felt his arm violently grabbed the sore arm which had already been maltreated that morning.

“Oswald Osgood, you are a selfish pig,” shouted his mother, pulling him down from the breakfast bar and sweeping both his comics on to the floor. Then she gave an even louder yell.

“And look at that! Those filthy comics have left ink all over the place. Look at the marks. I’ve just wiped it. They’ll never come off. I have warned you enough times not to read at meals.”

“Not my fault,” said Ossie. “I don’t print them. Don’t blame me. Blame the stupid printers.”

“Get out of the kitchen,” said his mother.

“It was your fault anyway,” said Ossie. “You must of left the surface wet, that’s what. That’s why it’s picked up the ink. See, it’s still all wet. Your fault. You must of left it wet…”

“I dunno. You can count. You went to school.”

“One of these days, my lad, you will go too far. Your poor grandfather has been waiting for you for hours. You have no thought for anyone but yourself.”

She frog marched Ossie to the back door, opened it with one hand, then pushed him out, closing the door firmly behind him.

“When I’m grown up,” thought Ossie, “and I’m in charge of everything, I’ll have comics delivered every day. And I’ll read them with my bacon and eggs. Every morning…”

Ossie was riding his BMX Raleigh Burner GX. It had been his Christmas present last year, which of course was yonks ago, and Ossie considered it was now really too small for him.

India, My Beloved Country

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: India

I will continue writing about Mumbai Bloggers Meet next time. On 2nd October 2008, I was watching Swades movie. This movie is about a man residing in USA, who is bothered about his mom. He wants to get his mom to USA from Delhi, but later learns that here; villages need more educated people, to make it a better place. Then I remembered my sisters talking negative about UK(London), Dubai and USA respectively.

My sister Ratika is a physiotherapist and went to London for further studies. She went there in the month of February and came back to India in September. She said that London always was cold and there was no sign of Sun. They did not have AutoRickshaw to travel. After 6pm we cannot get out of the house. There is lots of danger for Girls. They do not get salt and pepper, nor do they get all vegetables over there. Now she is happy to be back in India.

My real sister Sheetal who got married on 6th July 2008, is now in Dubai. She says that the taxi fares are very costly. You do not get all vegetables and fruits over there. I think our friend Sugar must be aware of such situations. AutoRichshaw is missing in Dubai also. You do not tasty food with Dubai made masala, which proves that east or west India is the best.

My other cousin sister Dipti went to USA in August. She has done Degree in Biomedical and has gone to USA for further studies. She said that you get any AutoRickshaw here, so please respect them. The food in some restaurant is not nice. So again here, people are talking positive things about country.

I think we are lucky to have AutoRickshaw here in India. We get all kind facilities here. We get all kinds of fruits and vegetables here. Here the masala’s are also nice. Plus the food in restaurants are tasty.

What a wonderful meet it was! - Page 2

After few minutes I and Chandra Sir entered Dynasty restaurant and took a seat at around 2.10 pm. Few minutes later Ramesh entered with his friend Nilesh. We ordered for sweet and sour soup. Later we ordered for vegetable gravy manchurian, paneer dried manchurian, spring roll and burnt garlic friend rice. In between our lunch we got a call from Akruti who stays at Navi Mumbai. We also spoke to AnandBhai who was at Goregaon for exhibition of his company’s product.

Akruti asked me about the meet and also aksed who was there. I gave the phone to her father. Oops, you all know Ramesh is her father and Akruti’s Mom is also somewhere near by, but I am not aware of her whereabout. Yes, Ramesh likes a girl named Shweta. After Akruti kept the phone, I started pulling Ramesh’s leg and he started pulling mine. After minutes, we came to know that Chandra Sir is the son of Legendary Super star Actor Anant Kumar. He has worked in Hindi and Marathi movies as well. We also give tribute to great singer Mahendra Kapoor who expired on 27th September 2008, that is Saturday. Mahendra Kapoor stayed just behind my building, Bandra West. He also told us that his father Anant Kumar them for shootings. All of a sudden his father took them for the shooting of Victoria 203.

I also spoke about my school. All the school children must be neatly dressed. The school children just run to the computer lab, as if its running away. They never form a line. We have to be strict with them, to teach them discipline. Yes, I was talking about Maneckji Cooper, Mumbai from where, Rani Mukherjee, Farhan Akhtar have studied. At 3.15pm I got a call from Vijay Sir. He was at Andheri at that time. I guided him the way towards Dynasty on the phone.

In the first snap you see me, Ramesh and Chandra Sir. In the second snap you see Chandra Sir and Ramesh’s Friend Nilesh.

What a wonderful meet it was! - Page 1

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Mumbai Bloggers Meet

I kept Mumbai Bloggers Meet on Sunday, that is on 28th September 2008 at 2pm. The place was Dynasty, at Santacruz West, near Archies Gallery. I was expecting Sunil T., Santosh N., Vidya Mom also. NB had gone to Delhi and returning to Mumbai on Sunday morning itself, so it was not possible for him to come for the meet. But they did not turn up. Akruti stays at Navi Mumbai, Santacruz was too far for her. Thanks to Kolkatta Bloggers Meet, which gave we Mumbaikars the idea to meet up.

At 1pm I met Chandra (new comer) outside Bank of Baroda, Bandra West, which is just near my house. Then I went along with him to recharge my balance in my cell. After that we went to Dynasty via Auto. He told me that, he never went out during afternoon and that too it was very hot.

In the Auto, Chandra Sir told me about himself that he was a painter and that he was into advertisements, i.e. working with an Advertising company. He has a daughter who is 21year old. Soon, we reached Dynasty so that we booked a table for at least 8 people. In that mean time, he called up his wife. I also spoke to his wife, who is really sweet. She has invited me for lunch. Chandra Sir stays at Worli.

He also spoke to me about Sonia’s and AnandBhai’s meet at Delhi. I also spoke to one his friend Geet who is from Fropher.com. Chandra knew Anand Bhai from fropher.com. I was glad that I was talking to Geet. She was in Delhi at that moment. She had come down to Delhi from London to attend someone’s wedding. I told her that, we must have ibibo and fropher meet together one day.

I took some pictures while I was with Chandra Sir. I will continue the next part later…..

Big Boss

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Big Boss

I always see Big Boss on Colors at 10.00 pm. I always laugh watching this reality show. I pitty Sambhavna. I do not like her behavior in the show, nor do I like Payal. I find both of them cheap.

I like Rahul Mahajan, as he behaves like Drona as Abhishek Bachan has defined him. Ahsanji is a nice and gentle person. Debojit is the other nice man. Zulfi, Raja are also nice. I find Ashutosh flirty kind of a man.

Diana is a nice woman I have liked her after Ketki Dhave. She is nice, simple and does not behave in a cheap manner like Sambhavna and Payal. I just hope that we remove Payal and Sambhavna both.

Payal was playing a bad game before her nomination. She was telling Rahul to Masaaj and showing off her body.

Sambhavna’s behavior is cheap. Sometimes she is nice, sometimes bad and hides herself that she is good.

I think, Rahul Mahajan or Ahsaanji will be the winner. I always think of HOF section, when I see Big Boss. Now lets see who will be thrown out on 30th September 2008. It’s the Big Boss………

Why are they killing innocent people?

Author: Nishu's | Filed under: Terror

I don’t know what are these terrorists up to? First blast took place in Jaipur date 13th May 2008. Second in Ahemadabad on 26th July 2008 and the third in Delhi on 13th September 2008. Their next destination is Mumbai and the date is 26th October 2008.

What do they think that we do not respect Muslims? Why so? Ask the innocent people. Today, I am asking you all the same questions that do you all respect Muslim community. Why are they targeting all innocent people? Why don’t they ask us that we are also against those who do not respect Muslim community. If they are after Kashmir then I think we all must declare that Kashmir neither belongs to India nor Pakistan, it belongs to this earth.

I hope Indian Mujaidheen Community goes through my blog and stops these terror activities and joins hands with us so that we can also support them in their fight. Lets hope for the best.

Introducing Ossie - Page 5

“People have to be very quick to catch you working.”

“Look, are you going to moan at me all day? Supposed to have a day of rest. Supposed to have a break after a hard week at that stupid school, but you go on and on all the time.”

“Sorry I spoke, your majesty.”

Ossie climbed up to the breakfast bar to have his breakfast. It was in a corner of the kitchen, all done in white plastic, which Ossie was very fond of. He started to whistle plastic, which Ossie was very fond of. He started to whistle, pretending he was at a real bar, sipping pins of real beer.

“Mum, tell him to stop,” said Lucy.

“What have I done now? Should I stop breathing? Is that what you want? You just want me to stop breathing. OK, I will. Then you’ll be sorry. You’ll rush to give me the kiss of life, but it will be too late. I’ll have been asphyxiointed.”

“I don’t think anyone will rush to give you kisses, Ossie,” said Lucy, very carefully writing Grandad’s name at the top of the card with her best felt pen. “Creep,” said Ossie. “Double creep. It’s not his birthday for yonks.”

That was one of Ossie’s latest words, yonks. He had used it continuously for a whole week. This was the normal length of time Ossie manhandled any word or phrase. After about a week, he dropped them, by which time they were so battered and bruised they were not much used to anyone else, Ossie had knocked all sense out of them.

“I’ll have two friend eggs, and three rashers of bacon,” shouted Ossie. “Some friend bread and tomatoes. Come on. Chop, chop, woman.”

Mrs. Osgood was in the kitchen part of the kitchen. Lucy was still very busy with her drawing, putting a border round it with a glitter pen.

“Mum, are you listening? I’ve been sitting here for yonks. Oh yes, you were the one said hurry up. You were the one said I’d be late. Now it’s you keeping me back.”

Mrs. Osgood came across to the breakfast bar and handed Ossie a small bowl of muesli and one small slice of whole meal toast. During the week, Ossie and Lucy had to get their own breakfasts because Mrs. Osgood went out to work, but on Saturday s, if she was in a good mood, she usually served them.

“I can’t eat this muck,” said Ossie, starting on it at once.

“What are you going to do with it, then?” said Lucy, looking up. “Stick it up your bum bum, Snotty Bum Bum.”
