Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan "Wild and Wooly Sluts" says Better Midler

Actress and singer Bette Midler did not mince words when she referred to the celebrity party duo of Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan as "wild and wooly sluts".  Somehow, Hilton Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, got left out of the equation.

The UK paper, Daily Mail, reports that the singer turned Oscar-nominated actress hit out at the duo who have been repeatedly photographed enjoying a string of wild nights out - missing their underwear.

‘I’ve been on the other side to these wild and woolly sluts that we are seeing around our lives these days and I’ve taken the other side,’ she said.

‘I started my life out as pretty wild but I have decided, after much growing and living, that it’s time that we got nicer.’

Meanwhile, Britney Spears tried explaining last week’s antics on her own website.

"It’s been so long since I’ve been out on the town with friends.

"It’s also been 2 years since I’ve even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a little too far. Anyway, thank God for Victoria’s Secrets’ new underwear line! I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me."

Spears, the mother of two young sons, celebrated her 25th birthday on Dec. 2. She has been unleashing her inner wild child since filing for divorce last month from Kevin Federline, her husband of two years.
