Warpaint

Well made-up faces are a pleasure to see..a visual treat.

In corporate world, well groomed look is an essential thing.

Where as, for men it’s an added advantage, for women it’s

a must-have. One need not be a natural beauty. But the

carrying of oneself with style and dignity is more important.

In corporate world, this is what is considered as needful.

But putting on makeup is an art. If we do it in right measures,

it can turn one into an appreciable beauty. If we overdo it, it can

turn one into a harlot.

Let’s take Lipstick..such a small thing..but has tremendous importance

in women’s life..

Lipstick is a great morale booster…I agree..

Lipstick has a long history, almost 5000 years…even longer

than some countries’ lineage.

Lipstick instills confidence in women. Today’s career women tackle

many a problems on daily basis. Sometimes, this mere stick acts

as a great confidence booster for many women in a stressful situation.

My friend works as a Team Lead in a well known software company.

She is a good looking one. She likes to beautify it more with cosmetics.

Nothing is wrong in that. But the problem is she likes to overdo it.

After all the layer after layer of applying different creams and lotions

and powder, she emerges looking like a cunning, calculative scheming woman.

This happens to be an irritant for her husband too. But if a woman listens

to her husband she is not fit for the wifey post..right.? lolzz

Once I asked her to join me in my early morning tennis..She

came armed with her war paint on..hehe

Well…the other day, I had dinner with the said friend..

During dinner, she had a hard time balancing between eating

and not smudging her glaring red lipstick. She avoided soup,

and some of her favorite calorie laden sticky food . She ‘enjoyed’

her dinner by nibbling on some finger chips and fruit salad. Even

vegetable salad was a big no no..

Even after all this care, she didn’t forget to visit the ladies room

to check on her make up.

Well..I’ve seen many such women..madly conscious of their make up..

almost obsessed with it. What makes them overdo it..Maybe they

are hiding their insecurities, fears, tears, hurts, weaknesses behind

their heavily made-up faces.

One cant deny that well groomed look, bordering on utmost sophistication

helps to keep men at bay. Only confident men get the nerve to

approach such women. lol

Sometimes, we, women, need to let go and be natural. Nothing looks

oh-so-good and captivating like natural fresh looks.

How can I end this post without revealing my favorite brands of lipstick

Avon, Dior and Revlon

Now, ur beautifying the lip business is too arousing … let me not overdo it. I would love to see women feel comfortable, and not make them another Revlon product. After all, men do not often want their ladies to blush behind lip sticks or lip gloss, mas

Well mostly it’s a girly affaire. I don’t know much about lip-stick barring its taste. One joke: Husband questioned his wife, “You spend lot of money on lip-stick, how much lip stick you use.” Wife said, half of the lip stick you ate and all blame for me.
